Its citrus notes offer a fresh, Mediterranean vibe, excitingly complemented by white floral, amber and slightly aromatic notes. It is also suitable for romantic dates and for all four seasons; however, in colder weather the citrus notes may not fully develop, which is why in winter it is especially recommended for indoor activities, such as the gym. It performs best in spring and summer, but can also be worn on mild autumn days. Its intensity is strong, but not overwhelming.
One of the notes in Tenerife is mandarin (Citrus reticulata), a fruit originating from southern China, which Europeans became familiar with only in the 19th century. The essential oil is cold-pressed from the peel, requiring 2–3 kg of mandarin peel to produce 1 ml of oil. The aroma of mandarin is distinctly fruity, sweet and juicy. This note is also present in Immortalis.
